In the journey of these athletes with intellectual disabilities, their value does not depend only on the efforts of individuals or parents, but also on the support and co-operation of other helpers. Often, they act as a 'team'. Whether on the sports field or in life, carers are not just one-sided carers, but sometimes they act as companions in life, relying on each other. They rely on each other to maximize their potential and motivation to realize their values.
